Welcome to my blog. It's here for you even more than for me. I will, as is my wont, try always to be HaShem's faithful pipeline for bringing you knowledge etc for getting closer to HIS truth, HIS desires as to what we humans, Jews & Bnei Noahh, should be doing here in this world. Also how to prepare ourselves for surviving the big changes that will be coming down the pike as HE changes the world for the epoch of Mashiahh and beyond.

The method I use for transliterations is a bit different than what you may be used to. It is a system I learned to more closely show the sounds of the actual original Hebrew pronunciation. i.e. the 8th letter of the Hebrew alefbet is usually called "chet" & spelled as "ch" while the 20th letter usually called "chaf" & in its simple form is also written as "ch". This is both confusing & inaccurate pronunciation. I write the "chet" as "hhet" because its actual pronunciation is a glottal "h", & the "chaf" as "khaf" because guttural sound between "h" & "k". The emphasized "chaf" or "khaf" is a full stop sound equal to "k" very much like the "kuf". Similarily the "tsadik" or "tzadik" I write as "ss" because its original pronunciation is a hard "s". The "ts" or "tz" sound was adopted from German. The Nodah Beyehudah (R. Yehhezkiel Landau 1713-1793) in his days tried to correct this mistake in his region, but to no avail, since the habit was so ingrained already by the influence of the surrounding non-Jews.

Today Be'ezrat HaShem we are growing & going in the direction of rebirth for a clearer future with Mashiahh coming soon & realization of the prayer to "Shvor ol hagoyim me'al ssavareinu" (Break the yoke of the goyim from our necks). So I am encouraging the use of proper pronunciation as a tool to internalize this flow & goal of renewal.
