The Danger of UFO Cults Cloning Babies
On
The group behind this cloning project is called Clonaid, but this organization is only a front for a very devious and dangerous worldwide religious cult called the Raelians.
This group was founded in 1973 by a French reporter Claude Vorilhon, who claims that so-called Aliens from Outer Space contacted him and revealed to him the "true" meanings of the Bible and the so-called "truth" about the birth of human civilization.
These so-called Aliens revealed to Vorilhon that for thousands of years the Bible has been misunderstood. Instead of speaking about G-d, the Bible is actually speaking about a race of space Aliens, who just so happen to be the ones contacting Mr. Vorilhon.
Vorilhon claims that the Biblical Hebrew word for G-d, Elokim, really should be interpreted as "those who came from the sky." Anyone with even the most fundamental knowledge of the Hebrew language knows this to be preposterous. Mr. Vorilhon should leave Hebrew in the hands of the scholars.
Indeed, his new chosen "alien" name is now Rael. In Hebrew Ra-El means "the Evil of G-d" or merely "Evil G-d." It makes one wonder what kind of so-called Aliens would produce a story that contradicts everything documented in the Bible for thousands of years and at the same time select to name their new messenger the "evil one."
Regardless of the outright religious sham and foolishness involved in this cult's ridiculous claims, they have now gone over the line from being merely foolish and have become sincerely dangerous. Playing around with human cloning is a dangerous thing. Indeed, everyone in the international scientific community agrees without exception that it is scientifically irresponsible and potentially very dangerous to experiment with human cloning.
My concern, I must point out is not religious or theological. Personally, I do not care about the religious implication of whether cloning is or is not imitating the work of G-d. We must however pay attention to the science fiction element of this cult and what there purposes are in their pursuits of this endeavor. The Raelians claim that they are seeking to discover human immortality through cloning. Such a pursuit in scientific eyes, all the more so in religious eyes is ridiculous and foolhardy.
Now here lies the problem. Before their announcement was broadcast around the world, the Raelians were just another stupid little cult about 50,000 strong, with ridiculous ideas.
Now, however, their cloning stunt has given them a world stage, on which they can now proclaim their cultic message to millions and millions who have never heard of them before.
What a publicity stunt! Regardless if the cloning claim is verified or not, the Raelian cult is in the world spotlight and this is a dangerous place for a group as radical and racist as this.
The Raelians clearly write on their website virulent anti-Semitic and anti-American opinions. In their eyes, both
To add insult to injury, the Raelian symbol is the Star of David with a Nazi Swastika emblazoned in the middle. Indeed, Dr. Brigitte Boisselier, scientific director of Clonaid, wore this very symbol in her international news conference announcing the birth of the cloned child.
The Raelians obviously care little for the feeling of numerous millions of individuals worldwide who are offended at such a sick and perverted symbol as this.
Sicker than any of this, is the Raelian idea that the Aliens want to come to Earth and establish an embassy here. So, where of all places on Earth have the so-called Aliens chosen for this? No, not
Vorilhon /Rael's Outer Space want a piece of
So, if Vorilhon /Rael gets his way,
Of course, this all sounds silly and you might think harmless, but it is not harmless anymore. The Raelians now have the world's attention.
Remember the words of the old American circus man P.T. Barnum, "a sucker is born every minute." This means that there are countless less than intelligent individuals out there who might respond favorably to the Raelian message. This means a potential of significant growth of their cult and the amount of people and monies that they can control. It is dangerous to see an anti-American, anti-Semitic religious cult grow like this, on the back of a news story and the possible abuse of scientific experimentation.
In my opinion, the Raelian cult is dangerous. It was not too long ago that another Alien based cult all together chose to commit suicide in their belief that their souls would hop on board an invisible UFO hiding in the tail of a passing comet. We were all shocked when dozens of otherwise bright and intelligent young adults succumbed to this cult brain washing and took their own lives.
Nevertheless, this is the power of cults to run and ruin the lives of its followers. Raelians are no different. They are especially able to do so by a sleazy mind bending & mind control system of series of seminars and initiation and with their promotion of promiscuity and various perversions, combined with forced denial of any spiritual existence and of any Supreme Divine being, thereby "liberating humanity" from any and all moral absolute obligation. This kind of pattern easily can lead to their being able to declare murder and or suicide a "proper and obligatory act" as has been done in various cults in the past and present (Heaven's Gate, Order of the Solar Temple, People's Temple, Branch Davidian, Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God, Las Canadas, Kali sect, Satan cult, the Nazis etc) . Will their anti-American sentiments lead to their members donating monies, time, or efforts to the causes of those who seek the destruction of the
If the Raelians are willing to play with science and play G-d by creating life, will they then consider themselves morally justified to eventually take life as well?
I, for one, certainly hope not. Yet, as the history of cults goes, the danger is not only apparent, it is imminent. I am afraid we have yet to hear terrible things coming from these Raelians.
Then again, what more can you expect from one who calls himself the "evil of G-d."
